I don't know if Duran Duran ever technically "broke up", but Roger and Andy left the band, so I'm counting it.
Incidentally, Duran Duran were the first band I had a crush on. I was in sixth grade, and a couple eighth graders turned me on to them. They were a gateway drug to many band crushes and obsessions to come.
