Dethklok gets animated for summer headlining run hahahah yeahh man.
Animated death metal outfit Dethklok [ tickets ] will mount a headlining tour early this summer as it continues to support its debut album and a dedicated cartoon-show fan base.The group--which was created by Brendon Small and Tommy Blancha, and is the subject of its own series, "Metalocalypse," on the Cartoon Network's Adult Swim program--will kick off the trek June 2 in Portland, OR.
Joining the animated rockers on the 27-city trip will be metal acts Chimaira and Soilent Green. Tickets for the outing go on sale to the public starting April 18; fans tuning into "Metalocalypse" on April 13 during the 12 a.m. ET showing will be given a password and information on where to purchase special pre-sale tickets for the shows.
