For four days my left wrist was in near constant pain, no idea what I did to it to cause the pain, and because of that no idea what to do other than wrapping it, to help end the pain. On Thursday Jim got back with me about coming by the Haunt to help hang the new actor entrance door. Went and maneuvered the door mainly using my right arm because of the pain in my left wrist. I got the door up and a new door know put on, only to find out that the person who had the door originally did not boor the hole for the deadbolt straight so the deadbolt would not go in and be able to turn. So the door was up but not in a completely secure way. Later in the afternoon on Thursday as I was sitting watching some television I suddenly realized that my wrist no longer hurt as bad, and by Friday morning the pain was completely gone. Which left two options in my mind as to what the heck was wrong with my wrist. Option one is that it was psychosomatic, and because I had not heard from my "job" about working my mind decided to play an evil trick on my body and once I was "working" again, my mind decided it had had enough fun. Or Option two, I still have no idea what I did but doing some lifting and balancing with my left wrist worked out the issue. I really do not know of the two which is the better to hope for. On Friday we borrowed a dremel from the machine shop next door and ground the hole bigger so the deadbolt would fit and then we framed in the door, (as it was a touch smaller than the opening and the point of the new door was to be better winterized.) After finishing it up Jim was happy and you could already feel the difference in the room. He has another door that he needs to get for the make-up room, which he has a line on, so once that is complete a good portion of the winterizing will be done. Jim also picked up a couple of fans to help move heat around for working in the winter which I think is a good sign that I will have a job through winter.
Well tonight is the cast party and I am really hoping that Scott, (casting director of the Haunt,) will get the clue that Jim, while not firing him, really does not want him around anymore.
I think this afternoon I will go and see Blade Runner: Final Cut at a theater. My first movie in a theater since like June or earlier, I think.
