my body sucks:
got a weird cold thing starting monday. couldn't sleep, night sweats, just absolute bleghness. but no fever! i started getting wheezier tuesday. walking downstairs for some water and coming back up friggin winded me! took a buttload of hits of albuterol, but that was just 2 minutes of relief before going back to wheezing, coughing up mucus, and shallow breathing. wednesday was where the wild things are at the hub. again, walking to the bus stop was a goddamn cardio workout. had to hold in my coughs during the movie; so bad. i liked the movie despite what cole and alena think. PSHH.
TODAY, i finally gave in and went to hall health. i was given a nebulizer which took a little while to work, but it felt so good! she prescribed me an inhaler for preventing asthma, more albuterol, and some prednisone to relieve my inflammation. prednisone is an immunosuppressant steroid stuff, so hopefully i don't catch the flu at this time. it's also got a shitload of side effects but doctor's prescribe it with the belief that the benefits will outweigh the side effects. soooooooooooo this is day one of predinose. i feel so out of it. i can feel everything like normal, but then my eyes just start wandering. whoa ok, i just did it right now. it's like a.d.d. i just see other stuff and stop what i'm doing and start thinking about how weird i feel.
SO YEAH. went to work today. i shouldn't have been operating heavy machinery, but it's ok 'cause i made it there and back. the car's electrical connections have been wack lately, so when i started the car, i couldn't see what the gears were. AND THEN, on the highway, all the meters went to zero out of nowhere... so i just looked around and went with the flow of traffic. it went back to normal eventually.
another side effect: insomnia. hopefully that means i'll do my goddamn homework due in 9 hours! my eyes feel pried open. my heart is beating super fast and i haven't moved from this seat for the past 20 minutes. coooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool.
