forget china.
i guess i got sick on the 1st/2nd starting with an achy body. by saturday, shit was too unbearable so i went to the doctor. i told her i had a hard time breathing and all that achy bakey business and i wound up getting an inhaler. that turned out useless. i got pretty delirious by sunday so my mom took me to the doc again on monday. this time i got an x-ray to find that i had pneumonia!
drove over to the swedish in issaquah where they checked my vitals and all that business. sooo apparently i was severely dehydrated, my heart rate was two times faster than normal, my blood pressure was super low, plus i looked uber hot with my purple lipz. oh, and the diarrhea accounts for the dehydration. =]
anywho. i got ambulanced over to the closest and only hospital with beds which was the swedish in seattle. i got sent to the icu where the iv's just started getting stabbed into me. i was about to get a big 'un jabbed into my collar bone (well they did, and it still hurts like fuck) but they had to abort cuz the wire frayed the first time and he couldn't find my vein again the second time. eventually, they switched me over to one big iv hub on my right arm.
a lotta x-rays, respiratory treatments, blood drawing, blood sugar checkin', antibiotics, potassium, vaccines, the usual. oh! tube up the naughty region! basically watched a bag fill up with urine. took me a second to realize i was peeing.
ooh best part was when they took out the liquid sitting in my lungs. worst fucking pain in the world. it ended up being a jar of cider-looking liquid, i'd say 4 or 5 oz?
last couple days at the hospital sucked. i looked out the window and almost cried at how bored i was. no visitors either =/
came home late yesterday and now i'm restin' it up! having cough attacks, asthma attacks, and whathaveyous. quitting smoking for reals this time. no fucking joke. my lungs are weak as shit.
not stoked on getting back into school mode. don't even know when i'll go back to class.
