I knew the general particulars about the real-life story but, whoa, seeing it actually played out in movie form was very touching, following the highs and lows of the Von Erich family starting from the 1960s into the 1990s.

It's a very tragic movie but cathartic as well, letting the story play out how it does. (The real-life version was much more tragic; the film itself chose to dial it down in a few key details, hence the "inspired by actual events" disclaimer at the start, which I think was for the best)
Pro-wrestling fans have added that The Iron Claw is geared towards audiences who aren't as savvy or die-hard about wrestling in general and I'd tend to agree. There's even a brief conversation early on where one of the main characters explains how pro-wrestling is very much real (while also being fake).
As far as a solid dramatic biopic, I couldn't recommend it more.
