*waves sheepishly at flist* Oh, God, I have a new fandom, people.
Um, also, since I'm here, book update: have started submitting to epublishers!
A Top Gear (UK) Anonymous Kink Meme
RULES OF ENGAGEMENT:
1) ALL characters MUST be 16 or older to play.
2) NO "seconding" prompts! It's annoying to the prompter and the readers, and I will delete any "seconds." If you like a prompt, write it or find someone who will.
3) Please post prompts ONLY ONCE. Repeated or reposted prompts will be deleted.
---
That's all! Very simple! Here's how it works:
a) You (anonymously!) post a prompt (or three, or ten...) including a kink, a character, a pairing, a timeframe or all of the above or some of the above.
b) Someone else sees your prompt, likes it, and writes it for you (anonymously!)
c) At some point, probably a couple weeks from now, authors of fics will be invited (but NOT required) to reveal which works are theirs.
d) I,
47_trek_47, am your usually-friendly now-quite-cranky-actually meme mod. I mostly try not to interfere with the flow of things unless rules are violated. Please PM me with any questions, comments, or requests for deletions/edits of your anon posts.
e) Bear in mind that due to the nature of an anon kink meme, this post is not friends-locked, because it can't be.
---
All kinks are welcome! Your kink is okay, my kink is okay, that weirdo over there's kink is okay!
Kinks can range from the vanilla ("James/Richard, footrub and cuddling") to the extreme ("Jeremy/Bugatti Veyron, noncon, violent, blood"), and from single word prompts ("Rain") to short paragraphs ("The boys return to the Isle of Man and... [etc, etc, insert detailed prompt here]").
---
3... 2... 1... Annnnnnd GO!
ETA: Sorry, I should have said this originally, but please do put a warning in the subject line if your fic contains noncon.
ETA2: This is NOT the place for a debate about the nature of kink memes. NOT THE PLACE. If you have something to say about kink memes, do it on
discuss_tgs, there's a post there hosting the discussion. I will delete any more off-topic (ie, posts which are not prompts or responses).
