I know exactly how you feel. Read the news, was stunned that he'd be such a reckless muppet, relieved that nothing more serious occurred. Hope it's not indicative of anything more serious than asinine judgement. Have since have wasted brain cells trying to decide wether I ought to comment on Buckshot (which some people have done.)
Heh, I've been trying to decide that, too. Haven't really decided yet, though. I don't quite know what I'd even want to say, and the whole thing is making me very aware of how utterly huge the divide is between this guy and me, you know? I feel particularly pathetic and fannish.
In my case, part of the reason I feel like this is that this happened at the tail end of the week when I found myself grieving (lightly, fannishly maybe, but grieving nonetheless) for Nathan.
And that came off a post I was trying to construct (it remains half written under privacy lock) about why Heroes failed as a show. I was thinking about the lack of planning in terms of The Company the lack of a coherent back-story/the original start of it all (which I had guessed had come out of WWII) if you will and a lack of coherent rules in regards to a heroes powers
( ... )
*hugs* I really, really hear you. I did end up commenting stupidly on his YouTube, I'm afraid. And, yeah, the show... well, I won't even get started on that...
Maybe, when AP has a moment to breathe after the clusterfuck and the lawyers the DMV hearing, and what have you (Google California and DUI sometime and see what I mean) he'll actually appreciate voices from out of the web saying they care. Maybe.
