Book log

Jul 19, 2007 19:02

I've put off logging books because I'd like to be able to have some meaningful things to say about them, but I haven't had the head space to do it, and the more I don't, the more it feels overwhelming, so I'll just tell you what I've been reading. Maybe someday I'll go back and write actual thoughts about them. I did like all these books, so I'd reccomend any of them if you're looking for something to read. (The ones I don't like, I never finish and so I never blog about them.)

Funny:
-Camouflage by Joe Haldeman
-A Dirty Job by Christopher Moore

Not so funny:
-The Diagnosis by Alan Lightman
-The Child in Time by Ian McEwan

True:
-Stumbling on Happiness by Daniel Gilbert
-Reading Lolita in Tehran by Azar Nafisi

Series:
-Vatta's War by Elizabeth Moon
-Uglies/Pretties by Scott Westerfeld
