James is terribly quiet on the drive from the studio to Hammersmith on Tuesdays. He wasn't always quiet. In fact, it used to be these drives were full of conversations, quick and fun, intimate without being intimidating. "Sorry," James murmurs, almost a whisper, too low and too intimate as the rope slides through between itself and Richard's chest, hissing and vibrating softly.

Richard brushes it off with all the sound he can manage, which is only a small huff of breath.

Now James' arms are around him, passing the rope around his back. James' chest comes up close to his face and Richard gets a deep breath of his scent: faded cologne, cigarettes. It's familiar but uncomfortably intimate. This isn't supposed to be about that.

James steps back again, drawing the ropes around Richard's chest and tucking them through above the next knot on the trail that leads down his abdomen. Richard can feel every move he makes, trembling through the half-finished rope harness.

James fingers push and brush against him again as the rope is tucked through again, and it still feels too muchThen James reaches his waist and hesitates. Richard feels his whole upper body go hot as he realizes he's a little bit hard... not all the way, but probably enough to be noticeable ( ... )

His eyes fly open when he feels James' hand on his ankle. This is different. He instinctively tries to uncross his arms, but of course, nothing happens. Again, its a relief. Something about it makes him relax and settle back against the couch cushions and not worry so much about why James is changing the routine. He watches as James measures out a yard or so of rope with his arm and ties a loose knot in it. He can't see what happens after that, because it's happening to his ankle, and he doesn't want to try to sit up again, but he can feel James looping the rope around his leg, quietly and with all his usual James-ish intensity ( ... )

Mindy's face felt like stone. Inside she was trying very, very hard not to scream.

"And are you?"

"Am I what?"

Mindy gulped. "Bored," she whispered, her eyes welling up.

She found herself hugged firmly, lovingly, and sobbed in relief as Richard placed soft kisses on her face. "No, no, no, no, it's you and me, Minds, forever, no matter what." He pulled away and looked into her eyes. "No matter what," he whispered, and kissed her on the mouth. For a rather long time, it turned out, until James had to interrupt them with an embarrassed cough.

Mindy could feel her face heat up. "Sorry, James." She rested her head against her husband's shoulder, feeling suddenly terribly foolish. "So. Why exactly did you need to bring me here?"

Richard did not answer straight away, but held her for a long moment. She felt his answer breathed in her hair. "I would like James to teach you what he knows. About tying me up."

Oh.

Oh.Mindy looked at James, who had gone beet red. "Is this something you’re willing to do ( ... )

"I sit. I become calm and relaxed, and I feel."

"Mrs. Hammond, you are difficult, difficult woman," James declared, then suddenly he was close, and kneeled on the couch beside her. Mindy heard Richard gasp as she felt James' hand on her face and gently, carefully kissed her lips. Mindy, her mind the consistency of warm taffy, could only think, oh, yes!

When James pulled away, his expression was much warmer. He glanced at Richard, who had been watching avidly, and smiled when Richard nodded. Taking Mindy's hand he placed it on Richard's cock.

"The trick is to touch him slowly, yet firmly, so as not to jar him out of his calm state," James whispered, watching her fingers on Richard.

"Show me?"

"Er...I should think you'd know how by now."

Mindy smiled. "I know. I want to see you touch him. I want to see what you did, before. No, no, dear, it's not revenge," she reassured him when she saw the guilt in his eyes. "I want to see what you saw. I want to know, as well." She hoped that her want for him would show in her voice and gaze ( ... )

This is fantastic and a perfect sequel! I adored the first one SO much, and I wasn't expecting anything like this to happen, but it's wonderful. I'm curious if it's the same author though? Well done - I'm a very happy girl.
