Oh noes! A post about... sports!
So, I was listening to the radio, downstairs, when I hear...
John Smoltz is leaving the Braves. I am sad now, and somewhat angry that they would let him go to... Boston.
Now, while I really don't follow teams so much, but my favorite players, like Smoltz, Chipper Jones, Andruw Jones, Greg Maddux... I love the Braves, and they are my hometown team. It was nice having some of my favorite players on the team, and Smoltz has been on the team for... well, I can't remember him not ever being on the team! He is the Braves pitcher, his age be damned! I don't understand why they wouldn't match what Boston was going to give him, even if his shoulder was injured the past two seasons or so, but, I mean, he's John Smoltz! He's no ordinary pitcher. You should let him finish out his career with the Braves, man. Sheesh.
