Our wedding shower was today and it went pretty well. My mom was being a cunt, very antisocial, looked sad/upset the whole time and hardly talked to anyone. And left early without saying goodbye to many people. Blech.
Jacob and I got sooooo many gifts, basically everything on our registry. It was nice to have both of our families over.
Jacob's dad and Brian went overboard, like always. They had a gas grill delivered to our house this morning before our party, lol. Then they bought Jake an $80 Keurig coffee maker. They also got him a shirt from Diesel.
And, my personal favorite...
they bought me a TIFFANY necklace!!!
It's beautiful. I never thought I'd ever own something from Tiffany's. Jacob isn't the type of guy who will spend a lot of money on jewelry, so he wouldn't buy it for me, hah. It was a surprising gift.
We got so many appliances that we needed, some sheet and towel sets, some games and a few Target gift cards, among other things.
We are lucky to have such awesome friends and family.
Ellery made us a beautiful cake. As soon as I upload pics from my camera, I'll post some.
