My dad watches NASCAR in sweatpants all weekend. He says it's a true sport. He's and electrician by trade, but fixes cars for fun.
I buy pretty much everything at Walmart and FUCK BOSTON IN THE ASS FOR NOT HAVING ONE. Target is too expensive for most things. Both the underwear and bra I'm wearing right now are from Walmart.
My dad drives either a pickup truck, his work van, or a 1982 car which he restored himself. He goes to car conventions.
I will soon be the proud owner of a pickup truck.
For a long while, we had pink flamingos on our front yard.
My favorite hangout is Denny's.
My dad owns guns. Lots of them. And he goings to the 'shootin' range'. My brother and I hung out there when we were kids. They let me post the scores.
I am the first in my lineage to go to college.
My dad's neck? Red. This is because he works outside so much. It's worse in the summer, but it's pretty much permanantly that way.
There's a small confederate flag in my kitchen. My dad has a confederate flag sticker on his truck. He voted for Bush. (All of that pisses me off pretty hardcore).
During junior high, my family was due to move to North Carolina, because my dad thinks the people down there are 'more friendly' and 'more like him'. We ended up staying put, but my parents are moving there when my brother is done with high school.
Plus...it's just a damn catchy song.
....and thus, more reasons why I am totally awesome. I feel like all of you Simmonsers need to come visit me this summer. WE WILL HAVE A BARBEQUE!
