"i'll use my broken heart as a dagger."

you know what i love? waking up at 4:20 in the morning. i slept over hillairys last night, and i had to catch the commuter rail from providence to boston this morning. that sucked, but at least i got to study a bit for my bio exam on the train. last night was deathcab and pretty girls make graves, definitely not worth the $17 it cost to get in...but hillairy paid for my ticket so i really can't complain. we sat in back for pgmg, and hillairy kept almost throwing up during their set. she insists it was completely unrelated to the fact that they were terrible, but i don't believe her. deathcab was great, except we were surrounded by a bunch of fucking melvins and hippies.
wednesday night, i watched the game upstairs with kelsey and andrea...we were screaming so loud, some snotty girl came in and said "you know, its only the second inning. you dont have to get so excited." i went to fenway after the game with andrea kelsey and tori and met up with sadie and alanna while we were there, and it was pretty intense. while we were running down, there were already tons of people all over the streets and the cops were out with all of their riot gear. we stood around on brookline for a while watching a public utility truck get absolutely trashed, people climb up lightposts and street signs, people climb billboards, people climb up the walls of fenway park. then we went down to lansdowne where a bunch of people were standing on top of a golds gym awning chanting typical pro-red sox phrases. everyone was giving high fives and hugs and finally the police came on their horses to calm things down. the horses got spooked by the crowd and tried to trample everyones faces, but they didn't. we were standing in front of the cask 'n flagon when andreas mom called her and said "don't go near the cask 'n flagon, its on the news". she was like, oops. we walked down towards kenmore square, and there were bonfires in the middle of the street, people were burning yankee jerseys and pretty much anything else they could get their hands on. down in kenmore square there were cops shooting people with rubber bullets, and everone got tear gassed. the cops with riot gear held up their shields and stood in a line and ran into the crowd, wall of death style. cars got turned over and destroyed and set on fire. when it started calming down, we met up with sadie and a couple of her friends, andrea went to meet up with a friend and i went to sleep. this weekend is parents weekend and i get to see my mommy, and that makes me happy.
