Like...what?

This morning I woke to see the BUNRAKU "trailer" which turned out to be a dud. I caught the video when there was around 500 hits and...I laughed pretty hard! XD

It wasn't an idiotic one either, it was one of those types of laughs that you get whilst rolling your eyes and asking "what the hell?! Is this a joke?". It was like a mind-game, I was trying to connect the dots in my head from the images to listening to all the cheesy lines and SOMEHOW come up with a picture of what the film was about. Sadly, that never eventuated and I was left as puzzled about the film as I was before I watched the video.

But seriously, can you make out any story from these lines (quoted from the video):

The Bartender: Life's not all about fighting-
The Drifter: Come on now, I know you know that ain't true. I can see it in your eyes.
~
Killer No.2: Stop! You can roll the dice and die when you ??? it all or take the safe bet and come back to ??? with Nicola. All this will be forgotten, even the buffoon part.
~
Alexandra: You may walk like a cock - and talk like a cock - and look like one too - but from what I hear, it's all for compensation.
~
Nicola: You know that there's a part of me that's hoping that they pass the cap and kill you all and that there is no one left for them to fight but me. And if I die - it would be like I always thought it would be...in battle, while I'm still great in life.
~
The Bartender: Hope this road brings us together again soon - in the meantime, enjoy your journey. (It's) been a pleasure.

I must say: EVEN IF it was just a promo (if it was a promo to potential investors/film distributors then I think I know why BUNRAKU hasn't been released yet...), that was...pretty bad. I remember some time ago when I read the BUNRAKU plot on Wiki and I thought it was either:
A) So "deep" that I was unable to comprehend OR
B) It was what it sounded like to me at the time: a box-office fail weird movie

I prayed that the plot on Wiki was false and the characters didn't include the "drifter", "bartender" or a man called "Nicola"...unfortunately, luck was not on my side XD

I dropped by IMDB and other pages for BUNRAKU as well and some of the users who attended TIFF felt that the film should go straight to DVD~~~ that'd be the worst case scenario, right? But it doesn't matter, at least there'd still be plenty of GACKT fans who'll flock to buy it! XDDD

film, youtube, gackt
