I went on Wiki and it was the first time I read the synopsis for BUNRAKU (emphasis added) :
Synopsis
A mysterious drifter and an ardent young Japanese warrior Yoshi both arrive in a town (doesn't the town have a name?) that is terrorized by outrageous and virulent criminals. Each is obsessed with his separate mission, and guided by the wisdom of The

The storyline sounds like crap. It just sounds like something that someone do to blend in martial arts, some Asian/ Japanese people while trying to pass of as having an awesome storyline with too many plots (or not). *rolls eyes*

Why is that there always seems to be some relation with Asians and martial arts all the time with the Westerners, eh?! Is that all we know how to do? Is that our only contribution to the world that's worth noting on the silver screen??
Sadly, the more I think about it, the more I know that these views will never change *sigh*

Isn't it so strange that the production of the movie started waaay back and the filming's all finished, though the public is yet to see anything apart from the occassional production snap now and then. What's with all the mystery?? This film had better be worth all this waiting! XD

I read somewhere that Gackt-tou didn't want to do the movie in the beginning but the Director was very determined to have Gackt-tou play Yoshi(?). Well the story line does sound "sucky" but you never know they may have some cool special effects or something......never the less it's Gackt-tou's first Hollywood movie so I have to support the movie no matter how sucky it may be......

Haha...of course I wasn't serious about the Turkey thing! Did I sound that convincing, eh? I was sure to make it sound as sarcastic as possible (I made it red), hmm...seems like I'll need to add some notes at the end for next time. But I agree with you that BUNRAKU's probably going to be released mid 2010.
Yeah, apparently Guy Moshe had to travel all the way to JP to invite GACKT to take part in BUNRAKU. What determination, eh? I wasn't expecting a lot from the movie before and after reading the synopsis...I don't know what to say, the story sounded so random. I can't help being critical on first impressions lol Nonetheless, let's cross our fingers and hope for the best!
