I may have discovered a new rock love to - well, never replace the Libertines - but perhaps to make up a bit for their loss.

I would absolutely love to get a plane over to England. You've no idea how brilliant that'd be. However, I am going to have to give you a rain-check on that of about two to three years, because at the moment I have no money, and going to England is expensive, and also something I want to do by myself, i.e. not with the family, and so I need to wait til I can put together enough money of my own to do it. I'll be like Douglas Adams, hitchhiking around Europe: "I didn't actually have the book Europe on Five Dollars a Day, because I wasn't in that income range."

It seems as if people are so much more interesting and nicer in other places than the one I am in now. Perhaps this is just the typical reaction of anyone suffering through high school. Livejournal has made me so utterly wanna-be English/Norwegian/New Zealander/Australian.
And I would love just the sort of day you're describing, just to sit around and relax and do things we feel like doing and - talking about boys sounds quite sweet as well, it's been rather a while since I dared to talk to anyone about boys. : )
