but I think its pretty sad when I see a severely obese child. Obviously the parents are failing at teaching them what is good to eat and when to stop eating. I get pissed when we're walking our dogs and we see people walking and then their kid is in one of those damn motorized cars. First of all its illegal to drive those on the road, and second no wonder kids are getting fat if "going for a walk" means driving themselves around. What happened to taking a wagon and having the kid walk till they get tired? :-p We figure we'll have a wagon that the kid will have to share with the lazy hound.

ugh. poor kid. a kid in england was half that fat at 8 and his parents were brought up on neglect charges. i think it should be an option in these cases.
