in a self-obsessed world motivated by mainly greed, tv isnt helping the matter.
we grew up on television. our ideals and beauty is based on the idea of what pop
culture thinks of as 'hot'. no more does the 'dont judge a book by its cover' exists.
we rather consume and idolize the cover rather the pointless pages that are often ignored.
with shows like cribs and extreme makeover, no wonder it is extremely hard
to see a poor fat person and see what they are really worth. even when applying for a job
is a little difficult for a fat boy. even with a little more credentials, a slimmer looking former athlete
will get the job. our perception of anything is so warped we will give into anything shown
on the tube. where ppl now are claiming to have a.d.d. as soon as they see the prescription
commercial on tv. or depression when they see a commercial for zoloft. whatever the case maybe
america is probably better off being its superficial greedy sack of shits. if not we'll just be
like those other ignored countries, like canada.
satire.
