I saw Radiohead last night again.

I was severly dehydrated, hungry and tired, and yet it was amazing. The light show illuminated the emotional range. What could be more intimate than having Thom play a sad and beautiful song like Videotape on a baby grand under twinkling white and blue crystals that hang from the makeshift ceiling like chandeliers. What could express celebration better than a crowd of 35000 other people who are fed up with the state of politics and dance together to the painfully true Idioteque to show that we are all ready for some serious change in this world. It was a show of solidarity, of rejuvination, a dislay of an ever increasing awareness and it all happened because the band wanted to make their new sound accessible to everyone. What could be more beautiful?

I felt like shit but I sincerely had an amazing time. Who else could make me forget that my legs are shaking and my everything hurts other than that British quintet?

Leaving the site was fun, hopping over broken fences with strangers through the woods on a romantic adventure that involved so much human contact that I thought to myself: only this band could orchestrate this real sight in this synthetic age. People were uplifted through indulging in their worst memories of rainy day lonliness all together. I am not alone.
