Dear Mom and Dad,
Greetings from the Pineridge Mountains! I'm having a blast at camp. I am in Bunk 9, the Owl Prowl. I guess it's a silly name, but I think it's the coolest bunkhouse in the camp. The other campers in my cabin are so cool! All of the guys have nicknames, Dollar Bill, Diablo, Needles and Charlie Hustle. They even gave me a nickname, Mudflaps, probably because I got so dirty during the capture the flag game. My favorite time of day is going to the river. There is a lifeguard there named Fat Terry that makes us give ourselves wedgies before we jump in the water, then he slaps us on the behind one by one as we dive in. He's hilarious! One time he told me that he wanted to dig around in my treasure chest. I guess that means he wants at my candy stash. No Way! I can't part with my green apple fizzbombs! The 4th of July dance at the girls camp was last week, it was awesome! A lot of the guys said that they got their hands on some hatchet wounds and bloody ears. I didn't see any, but it makes me glad that I'm not at the girls camp, it sounds like a dangerous place. The camp director, Mr.Tony, showed us the closet where he puts the bad kids when they misbehave. There were all kinds of leather straps and chains. I hope he never catches me doing anything wrong. At the riflery range there is a counselor named Todd that lets us shoot at whatever we want as long as we don't tell Mr.Tony about the weird smelling cigarettes that he and Fat Terry smoke behind the shower house. Well, I've got to go, it's almost time for lunch, we're having sloppy joes! I'm having fun, but I can't wait until parents day!
Love,
Mudflaps (Just kidding, Mom, you can still call me Danny!)
P.S. Could you send some speedo's? Fat Terry says that I'll be able to swim faster with those and I really want to get a medal at the camp olympics. Thanks!
