As far as I know, their relationship is never actually discussed canonically - Stringray likes to IMPLY a lot without really bringing it up. Stingway is strange that way.

Is it only implied in the closing credits? That's the only instance I remember ^^

Yes, that's it. I think there's very occasional lines of dialogue that imply they're dating. And once in one of the comics ...
