Name: Rushikayu13
Fandom: 36 (Tekken)
Character: Asuka Kazama
Rating: PG
Length: 176 words.
Extra Notes: Is AU. Happens sometime after Tekken 5.

Sometimes Asuka wishes that she'd never gotten involved.

From being a normal, cat loving girl, she now fights demons.

And no-one else understands. The red haired man -she isn't sure how to pronounce his name- wasn't really normal before coming into conflict with the Mishima's, the silly Chinese girl doesn't believe that the monsters are real, the younger blonde man doesn't speak Japanese and she doubts that the older ones can remember what it was like to just come into this world.

There's always an excuse.

They don't just congregate at the Iron Fist Tournaments now. They've managed to set up their own agency, working -sort of- with the approval of the governments involved. They still don't have a name yet -although the American girl calls them the Initiative, and on occasion, the Korean refers to them as the Order of Magdalene, making her wish that she hadn't let him buy that anime- and they have way too little funding, not to mention that they all speak different languages.

Some heroes of the world they are.

Name: Rushikayu13
Fandom: 37 (Discworld)
Character: Ned Coates
Rating: PG
Length: 179 words.
Extra Notes: Happens during Night Watch, because you never do see Ned die.

Ned Coates saw John Keel -although it wasn't really John Keel, was it?- blur and then come back into focus.

Somehow, the fake Keel's story about time travel, while unbelievable, made sense. That would be why he fought as well as the Keel that he remembered from Pseudopolis. That was why he seemed to know everything that was going on, all over the city. Ned had asked him how far back had he travelled to get to now.

He didn't need the answer. He was one of the brighter revolutionaries -after all, that was why he was a revolutionary- and he was a copper too. He could connect the dots, link up Carcer's demand for Sam Vimes' death with Keel's actions to keep him alive.

Somehow, someway, the middle aged man standing before him, a lilac plume in his helmet, was Samuel Vimes. And right now, Ned knew that siding with him was the right thing to do.

They charged.

And a split second after Keel -no, Vimes- grabbed Carcer by the throat, an arrow tore through Ned's chest.
