Before I comment properly, first let me say how terribly, terribly sorry I am that this got stuck in the moderation queue - LJ doesn't flag these things up and I totally missed it! I hope you weren't too disappointed or upset and didn't feel you'd done someting wrong (for the record, sometimes LJ gets funny about links, even when they're totally fine and I think that's why it happened here) I am terribly, terribly sorry!

I don't know Skyrim very well but this is a great fic, I love the feel of it, the contrasts in it. There's something very eerie and ivocative that I love about it.

Buffy I do know and oh, this is so sad. It really feels like something Buffy could be thinking at that point - but I love the hopefulness of Dawn coming at the end. Lovely.

And thank you so much for the lovely feedback! My writing in the past has always been a bit too sparse and lifeless, so I'm really trying to work on crafting better description and tone. It's a great relief to hear that my efforts are starting to pay off.

Now to start thinking about what fandoms to write next...

Oh, poor Buffy... really like the sense of despair emphasised by her surroundings here. And the Skyrim one is pleasant and vividly described, really evokes the chill!
