Ginji stared at the sausage, his mouth watering.
“Is that really for me, Ban-chan? Really?”
“Sure,” Ban-chan said, smiling a wide, cheerful smile. “Well. If you eat it quick enough.”
Ginji practically threw himself forward, trying to shove as much of the sausage into his mouth as possible. Ooooh, it was delicious and juicy and tasty, tasty meat …
Except for the lumpy bit.
“Ew. Ban-chan, it’s got a hard bit! I don’t like the hard bit!”
“THAT’S MY ELBOW, YOU ELECTRIC NITWIT!”
Ginji opened his eyes and realised that his mouth was firmly fastened around Ban-chan’s arm. Ban-chan was glaring at him with that scary glare that usually meant he was planning on sending Ginji flying.
“Sorry Ban-chan. I dreamed that you were a tasty, tasty sausage … ”
Ban-chan grabbed him and attempted to grind his head into the steering wheel. Ginji wailed for mercy and struggled until Ban-chan finally let him go, bemoaning the toothmarks in his arm. Then he took Ginji to the Honky Tonk and tried to beg Paul into giving them some breakfast.
Just another morning for the Getbackers.
