plot synopsis:
An enlisted man wants to marry the mother of his child, who happens to be Korean. This looks like a problem until Hawkeye steps in to help.

Oh, wow, that nice looking lady is racist. Shocking. Oh, wow, Hawkeye no longer finds her attractive.

It's a good illustration of Hawkeye's character, though. He's not as easy as we might think!

I agree, it just takes up so much of the episode I feel like I'm being beat over the head with what we already kind of know - Hawkeye isn't a racist and isn't going to stand for that behavior in his peers.

I think I would have been fine with this if it had been more of the background story, but in conjunction with scamming the officer so the couple could be together it was just a bit much.
