So I went round to Drews about 9.30. And we drank much vodka and 5 alive, and it was good. Then we got the train to town, and went to optimo. Which was really really rather rather good, and there was much dancing and fun, and much more drinking of vodka. And then we met Fraser, of cello playing fame. Lovely, lovely, adorable, generous Fraser with his heart of gold. He gave little Jony something that should have set me back five pounds, but so lovely was he that it was mine for free, even with beer to wash down. Ah, love for the dear boy comes easily. So, anyway, he tells us, me and Drew, he tells us, hey, there's a party over there...over where???? I says. Over there, West Princes Street. Isn't that in Edinburgh I say. NO NO, just off great western rd. FAB.
So, after the last note of optimo rings out and the house lights go ON ON ON and brightness breaks through the smokey gloom, we converge outside. After much to-ing and fro-ing, finally the exact location is determined. And so we head to 17 West blah blah. So, while we are waiting for the taxi, Fraser and his friend Sarah, try and steal a fire extinguisher from the 24 hour shop by centralestation but are caught in the act...but they escape with about 40 stolen packets of chewing gum. Maybe more. In 2 big boxes. Many packets line my pockets as I type. So, we get our taxi, and its takes us accordingly, but there is no answer from the buzzer. Then, oh stroke of luck, we meet others who had attended optimo and who were going to the party. Number 79, as it happens. So, it's not that wonderful when we arrive. We only plan to stay a little while. And time drags on. And it's half past five. And Fraser takes me on an adventure to the local 24 hour shop. Where he and his friend Sarah, while I look on half in amusement, half in 'um...no'-ness steal.....
...A pack of birthday candles.
...A packet of chocolate cookies.
...A pack of balloons.
...A novel, I never caught the title, for as soon as we exited the shop the book was ripped to shreds.
So, we returned to the party, to find Drew deep in conversation with the oldest woman at the party. She must have been about 50. Anyway, Drew was not to stop talking to her until we left. A few more hours passed by, and then, at 7 oclock in the morning, we decide perhaps it is time to leave and return here to Andrews in anticipation of the school day ahead of us. To much shock from the rest of the party. So, after farewells a-plenty and promises to have MORE FUN SOON, we take our leave. We arrive back at Drews at roughly 7.30, myself still really rather drunk, Drew claiming not to be. I have my DOUBTS. So, now we get ready, and I shall see you all (those of you in my Modern Studies class...so hardly any of you, in an hour and a bit...still rather drunk and extremely tired.)
I know this account was incredibly dull, but we had fun, and I thought I should type down what I remember before I forget.
So, that was Drew and Jony's fun night and morning out.
THE END.
