into the blue

the bubbling sound of blue
fills
the senses.
a hand-
reaches out to touch
the sky blue portal to
the infinite;
touches the icy water,
the pure cold energies of
eternity;
pulls back at contact
as shimmering ripples
echo
across space and time.
a step through sends you spinning,
a pirouette
across the dance floor of
the universe.
a dive
into the rippling ice-
a watery eternity.
a walk into the infinite:
into the blue.

original a/n: a poem i wrote during math. this is more movie-based... the scene where daniel touches the event horizon when the gate is first activated. i loved that part! comments? maybe i should pay more attention in math... xoxo-xandria
