Less than one month...
Ok, I am getting EXTREMELY excited now about my house! I just had my inspection this week. I really lucked out because the plumbing in the master bath was leaking. I say that I lucked out because now the sellers have to not only fix it, but buy me new vinyl (whatever I want) for the bathroom and new carpet and padding for the bedroom. Ha HAAAAAA. I was soooooo hoping I could get that carpet replaced...dogs make carpet really grody sometimes.
In my mind, I am constantly going over how I want to decorate. I know the style is going to be modern (but not too over the top, just very clean-looking) with a little modern vintage thrown in. I want to scope Rooms to Go and the furniture stores in High Point for a couch and loveseat. I want to find some vintage coffee and side tables, and a vintage chair to put in one corner. And a shag area rug. Ahhhhhh it's going to be great! I went to the antique mall last Sunday and bought a round formica dining table and chairs that are retro 70's...the chairs are upholstered and they swivel! I am going to do a glass tile backsplash in the kitchen and get it custom made with yellow and purple and green. Ok, it sounds weird right now but I guess you'll just have to see what I mean.
I need to make a list of things to do because there are just tooooo many things to count.
Ok, need to go walking now because a) it's a beautiful day and b) I've been eating nothing but fat food for the past two weeks.
