youth festival tonight!
bahahahahhahaha. omg. i'm watching this awful/great movie right now, like total mst3k style bad.
it's absolute cliche mid 80's high school drama with cheesy cliche music.. and it's on, of all channels, one of those god channels with the phone number in the corner? !
within 2 seconds somehow i correctly recognized the john-cusack-wannabe male lead was a young craig bierko despite it not immediately looking like him. okay i think the voice gave him away. anyway? this is awesome.
i landed on it in the middle of a cafeteria scene. the molly-ringwald-wannabe female lead was accosted by the cliche 80's bully character at the water fountain and he hit on her. to her rejection, he replied with:
"yeah well... i don't wanna go out with you anyway. i'd rather be dead, it'd be more fun!"
! uh, YEAH... NOT TURNING THE CHANNEL. but wait! there's more! the bullyslimeball, he pulls her hair when she goes to run away, and a WIG COMES OFF. !!! young!bierko chases her down and we find out she has cancer. derf!

haha this is horrid. young!bierko is trying to get her to accept jesus and junk so she's not angry about her cancer. it's like, another layer of insane cheesy on top of the layer that was already there. it's a cheeseball 80's cliche grilled cheese sandwich.
