Quick and easy vaguely-ethnic yums

1. Fritos, but better
Obtain some corn tortillas, cut into 1/2"-wide strips, deep-fry until crispy. Salt to taste. Much better than commercial tortilla chips. Estimate how many to make based on how many chips you usually eat.

2. A yumminess of dough
Aquire a can of biscuits, the ones that you have to pop and the suspense of poking at the seam and it not popping terrifies you. The smaller ones (1.5" or so diameter?) are better; I find that a 10-count can of the small ones serves two people perfectly. Pull biscuits into small pieces (1/2 to 1/3 of a biscuit), and deep-fry until golden brown. Coat with sugar immediately upon removal from oil. This is the little fried donut-ball thing from the Chinese buffet; I know this for a fact because I sell four cases of biscuits a week to the proprieter of the local Chinese eatery.
