and skating is ... well, it's never easy, its it?
OK, since my last post, let's see
The week of my ballroom epiphany it was
T - 3+ hrs ballroom
Th - 1 hr skate
F - 1.5 hr skate with Lesson, plus ballroom dance in the eve
Su - 1 hr garden
That was the last week of Ballroom at the university, so I tried to skate more to make up for losing 3 hours of dancing every week:
T - skate 1 hr, pushups and abs
W - short Pilates vid
Th - skate 45 min, pushups
F - skate 1.5 hr with lesson
S - garden 1.5 hrs
Su - abs, pushups
And then this week has been finals so all I have managed is
W - abs, pushups, 30 min dance video which aggravated my chronically injured R achillles tendon
F - (today) will skate and have lesson
I have not lost any more weight - just saw my Dr. and it was the same as last month, plus my jeans fit the same - need belt for winter jeans, summer jeans too snug for comfort. But I feel and look fitter, esp my legs, so that's encouraging. I was in the shape of my life about 3 years ago, and I've missed that strong can-do anything feeling. I'm not there yet (and never may be again) but I'm definitely feeling stronger and fitter than I have in quite some time - since I broke my arm in Sept 08.
