So yesterday (Monday) I saw my Dr. for a regularly scheduled checkup. I told her about my fall 10 days prior and she looked at my (still weak and tender and achey, though not actually painful) wrist and sent me down for xrays. And yup. It's broken. Not even one of the little carpal (wrist) bones, but my actual frakkin' arm. I snapped off the tip of the ulna (the

). This is exactly what I suspected I'd done, but I tried to convince myself that I was just being hypochondriacal and that it was simply a bad sprain. Tomorrow I see the orthopod. I shouldn't need surgery, but I'll be off the ice for awhile - 6 weeks is recommended, but something tells me I won't make it that long...
