Word up, faithful readers.
Life has been rolling rather pleasantly, between hanging out with old friends and new friends, balancing school work with music work, and then there is the ever popular sleeping occurring every night between the hours of ten and six.
Clarinet is going well, I'm getting faster and learning more notes so I actually can play the music in band.
Violin is cool, as usual. All-state is hard and out of my league, but learning the music is pretty fun nonetheless.
I am learning the most beautiful song ever on cello. It's 'The Swan' from 'Carnival of the Animals' and I think that if I get it soon enough I'll throw it on my audition tape for college.
Friday we had a football game, and it was lonely because Kali wasn't there. However, Kathryn, Brendan & Matt did go, and when they weren't there Linda, Kate, and Ben had my back. I got to see Carleton, too. He's okay, I guess. =P
Saturday we had an Arrested Development marathon at Brendan's. I forgot how absolutely hilarious season one is. Then we loitered at Dominoes & Dunkin Donuts. Excellent time.
Today I went with my parents and Gabrielle + her family and Ward and Mr. Dilmore to see Joe play with the Reading Symphony Orchestra. They were sooo good and they played Tchaikovksy which was excellent. It was so rad. The concert was at Reading Memorial High School, which is hella nice.
Afterwards, I cam home and carved Muthig's pumpkin. It looks okay.
So things are going rather well. I'm kept rather busy between school, homework, rehearsal, working, lessons, and a social life.
If we haven't talked in awhile, call me. :]
