Brosephs! Bromeos! Brerimiahs!
I haven't updated this since before SYMS. (Side-note: SYMS once again was incredible; new friends, good music, many inside jokes, etc.)
But since then I have had many more encounters:
School has started.
The Class of '08 is at its end! Bitches. My classes are pretty flipping sweet:
Sculpture - Let me just start by saying Elise, Emerson, and Brynn...and a big cardboard sculpture of Elise's nose =D. Haha, it's a really good class and I'm like, loving my nose sculpture as of now. It's all angular and I'm collaging all these noses cut out from magazines all over it. Maybe I'll post a picure sometime, but probably not.
Trig - I have Melissa and Tiffany, but it's sort of a tricky class. Whatever, though, so far I understand it, and Mr. Muthig seems to really like me so we'll just have to wait and see.
Latin - ZOMGGG. SOOO GOOD. It was supposed to be me, Ryan, Katie, and Brett, but Brett dropped on like, day 2. So now there's three of us and I'm lovinggg it. We're reading Claud The God, sequel to this book we read in Latin III. We're translating a story with a bunch of mythology and Mrs. Oliver's like, 'Jen will tell us about it, she's in Medusa!' and then I hestitate and give a brief & vague description to get out of the hot seat. But the class is so hella rad I can't believe it.
ANYWAY. ENOUGH RAMBLING.
Band - So clarinet is pretty sick. I dig the pep music. On my free block every other day, I was going to service aid for frosh band, but now Mrs. Cyrus is coming in and helping me with my all state music for no cost. It's the best ever to have three violin lessons a week in the middle of the day.
AP Lit - Hi, I sit next to Kimberley and behing Kiley & Angela, therefore I get nothing done. But Soffron tells the most intense ghost stories and I loveee it. Except for when it's like 300 degrees in his classroom and I feel like my face is going to melt off.
Drama club has also started again, and while we've been over run with freshmen, we still don't know everything about our fall fundraisers. Oh well, it's still drama club and I love everyone in it (okay, fine, there are a FEW exceptions, lol) and I love being on board.
Spirit week was totally balling, too. I was one of the yellow sweaters (yes, THOSE yellow sweaters) and I looked like Mrs. Huxtable from the Cosby Show on animal print day. Loveee it!
So a few things I don't like:
-My iPod being broken
-NO CLASSES WITH SARAH SPOTO.
-The bomb threat for tomorrow...?
-The Exeter game being away
-All state audtions being the same day as the Bright Eyes concert
At least the list is short :]
So that was my entirely boring update about the trials and tribulations of the first few weeks of school.
