Kaworu had to admit that very few things actually surprised him, he was after all more aware of the world and how it worked than a great number of other beings. Both a saving grace and a crippling curse at times, after all what was the use in knowing something when you couldn’t put it into practice? It was like the age old Lilim desire to learn the meaning the life, only to then learn it upon their deathbed. As things currently were though, he was well aware that death was meant to be permanent thing to the majority extent, of course he and the other were likely the only exceptions if only because their likeness could be recreated, and that he should certainly not be waking up currently ( ... )

Dash looked in on Kaworu with a bit of a raised eyebrow. "I think you may be the only new arrival who isn't already up and about when someone comes to check in," he said conversationally. Something in Kaworu's energy was off, like he'd been revived after passing out or something so that was probably why.

"Anyway, I'm sure you have questions, so focus on making your words understood or I won't be able to make out what you say. We call it using Common."

The angel easily noted that small raise of the eyebrow, although he chose not to comment, instead letting a small wry smile tug at his lips. Well, he had been called weird plenty of times back in Tokyo-3, it suited him to be different in another place altogether. Moving on from those thoughts though, he had to wonder about how many other people were here, it certainly sounded like there were a few who had come and passed through this building.

How odd. At least it gave him something to ponder upon for a little while.

Regardless, his focus was apparently needed here and now. Languages were fairly easy for him to catch onto but on that sounded like a strange way to pick up something new even to him. Still, Kaworu had always been one for learning through practice so; this was a starting point, an uncomfortable one but a point all the same.

“Why would you call it Common?” ...Now that hurt his apparently reformed throat, an irritation. To be expected really.

Dash shrugged, leaning on the doorframe. "Simple name for a common way of speaking I guess," he replied. "I didn't come up with it. Anyway you're Kaworu right?"

Arro sat, studying the phone in his hand that had been left on Dash's desk for him. He'd found the new owner's room soon enough, but was currently waiting, and pondering over said phone.

He was sitting on the ceiling as he did this. Waiting carefully outside in the hall he was toying with opening the door, but he did want to hold off. After all, giving oneself a present too soon was a waste. Instead he was formulating ideas as to what lay behind the door, and on whether it would make it outside without his help.

Daxter had been pacing the room he'd woken in for the last several minutes, trying to figure out what happened to him and waiting for Jak and Keira to show up so they could get out of here. Last thing he recall was they were preparing to go explore whatever could be found across the Brink...since he'd been outvoted. This really didn't make sense and the ottsel was fed up with waiting.

This decided, Daxter wasted no time in getting the door open and stepping out into the hallway. Now he just had to find the exit.

Arro had been so wrapped up in his own thinking he almost missed the scarce protest from the hinges of the door.

Glancing down, he was immediately relieved of wondering about the phone's owner. Quietly stepping down the wall behind him, he cleared his throat, trying not to look slightly amused. He just hoped he hadn't scared the new arrival too much.

Daxter turned at the sound of a throat clearing. His first thought was to ask where the hell this guy had come from, but instead he decided to go for the important stuff. Thankfully he liked to talk so much he naturally wanted to be understood by anything that could hear. "Who the hell are you and where am I?"
