Characters: Miss Pauling and you. When: Anytime during the event. Where: Dreams can be nightmares too Rating: PG-13 for blood Summary: A broken vase, even when fixed, will always have the cracks.
There was half a second where RED considered he might be dreaming- that was an odd occurrence in itself, given he'd never been the type who could control his dreams or even be actively aware he was having them. However, figuring out why he'd be dreaming he was in a mansion was beyond him. It was too fancy for his mind.
Even his dream-self wasn't interested in prying around other people's houses, especially when there seemed to be a party going on- he could hear the murmurs and conversation and clinking of glasses nearby, but couldn't pinpoint the location. He turned back to the front entrance, giving the door a try.
Sniper stepped through the doorway without looking, only to find himself standing in exactly the same room he'd just left. He nearly jumped as the door clicked shut behind him
( ... )
His voice bounces of the walls and echoes around the room, but nobody replies. The party seems to be going on as the party-goers seem to be ignoring him.
BLU glanced around the place curiously, he'd been in a forest hunting only a moment before, but as dreams go he couldn't remember how he'd gotten here. But then again, it didn't seem too troubling. He had the odd sense that he shouldn't be here.
Looking down at himself, tired and sweaty, pants and boots drenched in mud, in fat he was leaving muddy footprints on the carpet as he walked. Shouldering his bow he headed away from the sounds of the party, hoping to find a way out.
Going deeper into the mansion, BLU will hear the sounds of a party coming from the next room. However, entering said room will reveal that there was no one inside. Furthermore, the noise now seems to be coming from the next room instead. This process will be repeated a few times.
He reaches up to scratch his face, wondering what to do. He obviously shouldn't be here, his boots were still inexplicably tracking mud wherever he went, and he seemed to have crossed over himself more than once, though he couldn't recall turning around.
Outside, BLU will see the countryside. It appears that it is late evening, as the sun has set and the stars have already appeared in the night sky. There are some red lanterns outside too, glowing gently in the dark.
Spy is probably the only one who is enthralled about this dreamscape mess. Personally, he's finding it fun to visit people's minds and a challenge to figure out their indentities from the hints left. It keeps his skills sharp, that's for sure.
He perks up at the sound of chattering and socialising and cloaks before opening the door that appears to be hiding the source of the noise.
There's no one there, the room is empty. Perhaps he should try the next room, the sound seems to be coming from there instead...
...except that opening the door will reveal yet another empty room and yet again the party chatter will appear to be coming from the next room. This will repeat ad infinitum.
This is both thrilling and confusing at the same time. He uncloaks and dusts off his jacket, looking about the third seemingly empty room in confusion.
Instead of tracking, he's going to look about the room for clues. This means looking for personal belongings or photos.
