Guy was sitting around in his house, currently messing around the with 3STP device again. It was something that intrigued him really, since he couldn't quite figure it out. A device like that...what the people at home would love to see something like this!

He had no idea what was up with Manic, completely unaware of the situation at this point.

The blue hedgehog had always been one for leaping into new things, what good could come from sitting still after all? This time was no exception once he’d found the person he guessed would be needed, a simple and short message, a message which could be taken the wrong way given how little Sonic could actually say for detail as well as the fact that he hadn’t, well, said who he technically was.

It was rather literally a simple note to the effect of, “Manic needs your help” and “possible robot with info”... Of course, he missed out the whole part of said robot with a possible cure being incredibly dangerous. He lived for that type of thing, most people ended up being scared off by it, a shame really.

All part of the waiting game for the time being.

Guy about jumped out of his skin when he got the message. It wasn't anything that he would have expected, seeing as how nobody ever really bothered to message him.

Though when he looked at the message, he had no idea what to make of it. Tilting his head, he frowned. Well, if something had happened to Manic, he couldn't just respond to the message. So he tried to do what Manic taught him to do and locate the green hedgehog, before grabbing his things and heading out the door.

Whatever happened, Manic definitely was going to get help.

It didn't take him long to get to the area that he was tracking, and he looked around. His eyes finally spotted Manic, and...a blue hedgehog?

"I got a message about Manic...?"

For his part, Manic only turned a very blank stare on Guy for a long moment, not seeming to recognize or even really see him. Nothing other than his head so much as even twitched in the process.

Sonic had to say that this was one of those times where someone turning up was the best thing to happen, he hated waiting after all. The fact that he was currently waiting for someone who could hopefully help the unnaturally quiet Manic meant very little in his mind, help should have been faster.

The hedgehog very absently motioned towards the rather still green one as though the mere sight would explain everything, anyone being that still and out of it had to have something wrong with them. First thing first, generally make sure that there wasn’t any misunderstanding and then move onto the whole adding in a possible robot as the cause idea.

“Yeah, he’s not exactly normal right now.”

Guy blinked at Manic's reaction to him coming up, and he shifted around. He looked over at Sonic when he started to speak, and rubbed the back of his head.

"So I can see." He said, raising an eyebrow. "What happened?"

Obviously this wasn't a trap or nothing like it; he had gotten on his guard for nothing. Really, he wasn't complaining about that in the least bit.

The blue one gave a short glance over at the still, well, still Manic, the problem was that he didn’t know for certain what had happened and could really only resort to guessing. Sure it would probably be a really close guess but that was beside the point.

“Beats me.” With a small shift of his weight onto the other leg, he moved the currently ‘armed’ bag into view. He held it away from himself, gripping a part where the whatever it was inside hopefully couldn’t reach. “If I had to guess then it’s probably caused by the thing inside of this. You’ve got an idea about robots, right?”

For a few moments after thinking about the robot, Sonic was relieved that the Doctor he knew hadn’t created something like this.

Guy followed Sonic's gaze, then stared at the bag. At his words, Guy nodded. "Slightly...is there one in there?"

What had happened to Manic? If Sonic didn't know, then how was he supposed to figure it out?

But then again...to help Manic, he would try to figure it out as quickly as possible. It was hard to believe that the green hedgehog could be so quiet.

The hedgehog nodded, he was certainly sure enough that the thing inside was mechanical unless insects were now naturally metallic. Very carefully Sonic shifted the bag around so he could point out the small holes, the last thing they needed was for the thing to start moving around and blindly trying to spike everything on the other side of the material.

“I’m guessing that it stuck something into him.” Well, ‘guessing’ was probably an understatement if the multiple holes and the fact that he’d personally seen something poke out allowed him to call it a fact.

“If this thing caused the problem then there’s probably something inside of it which could cure him.”

"Probably." Guy agreed, reaching out to take the bag. But he thought better of it for the moment, and rubbed the back of his head. "We probably should bring Manic and the bug...thing back to my garage. You can carry that, and I'll carry him."

That sounded like a good deal to him...he didn't think Sonic could carry the green hedgehog by himself.

But then again, who knew?

Sonic very slightly titled his head before shrugging the look off, he didn’t really mind which he ended up carrying so long as things started moving, standing in one spot for so long was certainly getting to his nerves and need to run. To him the option of which to carry was really, well, pointless. The bag was lighter, but it had some trance inducing robot, while Manic would weigh a little more and for all he could say, the other hedgehog might wriggle. One good point, one bad point.

Still, the hedgehog went for the bag if only for the fact that having Guy risk an attack could end up with two people down and no one to help. At least if it went against him then the hedgehog had a better chance of getting out the way...maybe resulting in the wreckage of a robot but that was besides the point.

“Ready to move?”

Guy picked up Manic when Sonic seemed to be content with carrying the bag. The hedgehog wasn't quite as heavy as he expected him to be, though he did take care to hold Manic in such a way that it wouldn't be uncomfortable for him.

Though he wasn't sure how much Manic could really feel right now.

At Sonic's question, he nodded. "Yeah, follow me." With that, he started to walk off in the direction of his garage.

Sonic nodded in return although he notably didn’t start moving straight away, if he was going to be stuck at a ‘normal’ pace then he might as well get a little run out of the first few steps. With a small shrug the hedgehog copied the other’s steps at a significantly increased pace, sure he didn’t know where he was going but it would hardly take long to double back and check at each possible turn.

In the back of his mind he could imagine taking a long snooze after all of this mess before heading off into the outside. Once he was sure that Manic didn’t have any other mind controlling bugs lurking around in things.

Stay focused. Get Manic healed first and deal with the clean up afterwards. Even if it did mean having to wait around.

Guy just watched Sonic, and then shook his head. He was a fast little guy, wasn't he?

He mused about this whole situation on the walk to the garage, and when he finally got there he set Manic down on one of the chairs he had there. He turned on the lights, and then shifted around.

Well, it was time to work.

"May I see the bag?" He asked quietly, tilting his head.

Sonic ultimately kept up his darting around up until Guy was making his way inside the garage, he had the feeling that this could take awhile of standing around and there was absolutely no rush to get to that. When the other did start to disappear out of sight, he promptly followed. Sooner in, sooner out, right ( ... )

"...Right." Guy muttered. It had just been a polite gesture, but Sonic could take it how he wanted to.

Now it was just time for him to figure out what this thing even was.

Taking out some pliers, he reached into the bag with them carefully and took the bug out. He stared at it, shifting it a little bit before placing it on his desk and setting a glass bowl over it.

He had to figure out how to disarm this thing, but how?
