There was a quiet sigh from Luke as he followed behind her, arms carrying several bags of groceries as he closed his eyes for a few moments. Really, between Daxter's attempts to try and help them get closer and whatever it was he did, the replica was just way too exhausted after everything. Not that he minded the time with Tear; it was just Daxter's antics had exasperated things more. So he was really glad when he finally decided to leave them be.

Though now he wasn't even sure what to do now that he had Tear all to himself. He looked at her back for a bit before he cleared his throat. "Is it okay if I ask what you're going to do with what you got, Tear?" He was genuinely curious about it.

She seemed to become more alert all of a sudden, slightly blushing, but not so much that one would notice right away. "I was thinking of practicing my cooking. A soldier should be well versed in many areas in case such skills are needed in a mission."

Well, considering it's Luke that she's talking to, she really didn't have to worry about him noticing her blush. Not when he was trying to keep himself from saying or doing something stupid while in her presence, anyway. He still chuckled a little, though. "I-I see..." he nodded, blushing. "It sounds weird, but even if you're a soldier, you're still not that different from an ordinary girl, too..."

She looks at him, stopping in her tracks. "Why do you say that?"
