Chapter 6 The sun's bright light illuminated the room, even through the heavy curtains that lay over the windows of Doojoon's room, waking up Doojoon with it. Doojoon, with his half-lidded eyes, gave a lazy smile, yawning a bit. He looked down at his elvin lover, smiling to himself as he watched the little thing look even smaller all curled up and in a deep sense of sleep. Doojoon laid a kiss on Dongwoon's head and blew air on the blonde strands that fell over his head. Dongwoon whined in his sleep and snuggled deeper inside of Doojoon's embrace, making both of their bodies warm and toasty.
That settled it: Doojoon was not going to work that day. He would just call in sick, even though he is positive that his co-workers will be curious as to why Doojoon is taking a 'sick' day in about three years, the day after they all met his boyfriend on Valentine's Day. Doojoon hugged Dongwoon tighter, closing his eyes to go back to sleep. Before he could drift into his sleeping state, Doojoon heard the door bell buzz. Damn it! Hoping the person would go away, he decided to just shield Dongwoon's ears with the blanket a little, just enough so the annoying buzzer noise wouldn't wake him up. Dongwoon stirred in his sleep as Doojoon tried to coo him back to sleep.
The person on the door was relentless; continuously pushing that door bell. Doojoon sighed as he got up and put on his boxers. Whoever it was sure wanted to get yelled at.
Doojoon's jaw dropped when he opened the door. "DooDoo sweetie!" squealed the shorter woman in front of him.
He shook his head, "Umma?"
"Oh my little sonnie!" she grasped Doojoon into a tight embrace, Doojoon still in a state of shock. She let go of the hug and noticed Doojoon's attire. Frowning, she added, "Sweetie, you can't just answer the door without any clothes on." This caused Doojoon's cheeks to burn a bright red color.
But not as red as what happened next. There walked out Dongwoon rubbing his right eye, wearing nothing but Doojoon's shirt from last night and those tight little lacy underwear Doojoon made him wear. "Hyung," he yawned, "what's going on?" He finally opened his eyes and stared the the woman across from him. Now it was Doojoon's mother's jaw that dropped. Doojoon opened his mouth to say something but he didn't know what to say. Feeling the hostility in the room, Dongwoon let out one of his brightest smile and announced "Good morning!" He took a few steps forwards then stopping in his track after Doojoon shook his head no. His smile dropped.
There was silence in the room. Dongwoon stared at the stranger in the room, Doojoon looked back and forth between his mother and his boyfriend and Doojoon's mother's eyes lay on Dongwoon, observing. Finally, in a chilly voice Doojoon heard his mother, "Doojoon," she started, "is that...the shirt I got you for your birthday?" Doojoon gulped. "Well?"
"Um, yes Umma."
She still stared at Dongwoon. "Oh... so why is this...naked boy wearing your shirt?" Dongwoon let out a small frown as he looked down to see what he was wearing. Doojoon cleared his voice, not understanding how to explain this.
"Well Umma..." he paused trying to figure out what to do. His mother's gaze was strong. He looked up to Dongwoon and motioned him to hold Doojoon's hand, the latter following. Doojoon turned to his mother again, adding a nervous smile, "Umma, this is Dongwoon, and he's uh, he's my boyfriend."

Dongwoon was nervous. That is why almost nothing was going right as he made breakfast that day. Doojoon sighed. Watching Dongwoon be so concerned and helpless made him feel so terrible. Today was supposed to be a day of relaxation; just cuddling in bed, underneath the blanket on the couch, watching a movie, maybe even a bath together. One that doesn't really include any sexual activity, just spending time with his baby. Of course, sex was welcomed, but Doojoon looked forward to a peaceful day with his Dongwoon.
Yet here is Dongwoon, practically slaving himself in the kitchen trying to make the omelet just right for Doojoon's mother. Doojoon's mother glared at the clumsy boy who kept muttering apologies. "Doojoon, why?" she simply asked. "I knew you were lonely, but really? Some stranger you met randomly in the streets?" She was not pleased.
Doojoon sighed. "Umma, he's really wonderful..and..sweet and.. he takes care of your son." His mother did not reply. Her eyes were already focused on Dongwoon working in the kitchen. Doojoon started to sense some tension in her eyes. He stared at Dongwoon, the boy wincing at his mistakes, or maybe even pain. He remembered last time he had sex with Dongwoon; the pain he went through the next day. Poor Dongwoon's back and ass was probably killing him right now as he fumbled in the kitchen. He looked back at his mother.
She was still. They both stared at Dongwoon as he put a plate down in front of the mother and one in front of Doojoon and stood there, looking down at the hem of Doojoon's dress shirt. The silence was awkward. Doojoon cleared his voice, "Um babe, I mean Dongwoon, um, why don't you just get a plate for yourself and join us."
Dongwoon lit up. "Okay hyung." he announced as he went into the kitchen to get his plate. The room was once more quiet before Dongwoon came back with a happy expression, taking a seat across from Doojoon, diagonal from the mother. Only then did his mother start eating, Doojoon and Dongwoon following.
Doojoon made small talk with mother, avoiding Dongwoon as a topic the whole time as Dongwoon just watched the two. His mother was not amused by his interests in her well beings; instead she turned to Dongwoon, "So Dongwoon, where are you from?" Dongwoon stared up at her, not really sure what to reply to the expecting lady in front of him. Doojoon's heartbeat became much faster, hoping, praying that Dongwoon answers the question right.
"Um, me?" Doojoon's mother nodded. "I'm from...um"
"He's from Chicago!" Doojoon blurted out, causing his mother to give him a startled gaze. Dongwoon wasted no time in nodding his head.
"Yes. That is where I'm from; Chicago." He gave a warm smile.
Something didn't seem right to Doojoon's mother. Suspicious, she asked "Chicago? How did you two meet then?" Her eyes narrowed to Dongwoon.
Dongwoon gulped. "We met at the park...ma'am" he flustered trying to figure out what to call the woman in front of him. She nodded her head. "The park? Oh, well that's nice. So, Dongwoon, what are you doing here? In New York."
Dongwoon could think of no response, so Doojoon decided to butt in and save his Wooniee! "He's moved here for college!" Anticipating his mother's next question, he added, "He's an art student, he goes to some art school here." Dongwoon nodded.
"Yes." is all he could say. It was quiet again. The mother said no more as she finished her food. The other two followed. After finishing her meal, she gave Dongwoon the plate, who eagerly waited for it.
"That was very delicious Dongwoon." she said sweetly and gave him a smile. Dongwoon awkwardly nodded back and hesitantly curved his lips.

"Doojoon, I don't like the idea of you just moving in with any stranger, whom you definitely didn't meet in a park." his mother stated as she put her coat on.
He shrugged. "Umma..." "Fine. Don't tell me how you two met, if the truth is that bad," but it's not bad; it's just too absurd for Doojoon's liking, "but at least tell me that...that you are using...protection." she says the last part in a whisper. Doojoon's eyes widened."I don't think he's good enough."
"Umma don't say that..." "Why not? I have no clue who he is, and I doubt you know anything about him at all. How do you know he's not taking advantage of you; your money or your apartment? He could have been some drug dealer or some murderer or, or some stripper or prostitute or something!" she ended, running out of any other possibilities of what he could have been.
"Oh, no! Umma he was definitely a virgin!" His mother gave him a look and he realized what his last statement implied. Was a virgin. Until he met Doojoon of course! She shook her head.Doojoon sighed. "Umma, I know you're saying all this because you care for me, and I appreciate that, I really do...but Dongwoon...he's, he's just perfect. He's perfect for me." He stopped making sure she was listening, then continued, "Dongwoon is just such a sweet and caring and cute person. He's always making sure that I am happy and no, no he's not taking advantage of me. If anything I'm taking advantage of him and his naive-ness!"
His mother's gave him that look again, the look she gives when he speaks of any naughty things Doojoon is doing. Doojoon jumped in again, "I mean, his niceness and generosity. He has never asked me for a single dime," really, what use is it to an elf? "and fixes the bed every morning and makes me breakfast before I go, which I never ate before he came along and that's the most important meal of the day, may I point out!" he almost shouted at his mother, "He packs me lunch everyday and makes sure I come to warm dinner every night and I don't have to sit by myself and eating alone. And ever since I'm with him I feel just so damn...happy." His eyes stared at his mother, pleading.
"I love him, Umma."
His mother stared back at him before Dongwoon came back with a bag. "Umma- I mean, ma'am, this is just some kimichi soup I made..." hesitating before going on, "because I thought you were going to stay. But since you're not, this is just so you don't get hungry along the way!" he exclaimed, giving a failed-eyesmile which Doojoon loves to make fun of.
She looked at the bag and took it into her hands. "Thank you," she muttered, adding, for the first time that morning, a heartfelt smile. "Um, Dongwoon, dear, you can call me Umma if you want." she added. Doojoon blinked.
"Really?" Dongwoon asked, with excitement ringing in his voice.
The lady in front of him smiled. "Of course dear, your my son's boyfriend after all. A very good one indeed."
Dongwoon was spazzing inside but he kept it all jumbled up in his head. He reached out and hugged Doojoon's mother, surprising her in the process. She gave a hug back, one that wasn't as tight as Dongwoon's. "Umma, come back anytime! I'll be here! I'm always here at home when hyung's at work! So you can come visit whenever!" Dongwoon shouted with joy.He finally let go after which Doojoon hugged his mother.
They left a very peppy Dongwoon at the apartment, heading towards the subway station. "Thank you." he finally told his mother.
She gave him a kiss on the cheeks. "Don't thank me. I wouldn't have accepted him if you didn't love him so much and he wasn't such a well mannered and adorable little boy. That and those little elf looking ears he has." she teased. That last statement made Doojoon nervous but nevertheless he beamed with delight. He gave his mother one last hug and allowed her to board the train and headed back to the apartment.
As expected, he found an ecstatic Dongwoon back home. "Does she really like me hyung? I though she wouldn't but then she was so nice and I could call her Umma! Oh hyung!" he jumped on Doojoon. Doojoon laughed Dongwoon and hugged him tightly, leaving a peck on his lips. Dongwoon blushed and allowed Doojoon to embrace him.
12:47. There was still the entire day left to spend with his baby and it started off so well.
A/N Hello all...well I started the 'drama' piece, though it's not really drama. Hehe.
Also, I have a tendency of creating new words, like naive-ness since, oh well, I think it should be a word -_-
Not sure if this is just getting boring or what you feel about this, but I try... lol
I'm trying not to drag it on too long but then again I don't wanna rush it.... but with the current storyline I have planned out, I might wanna start updating more frequently lol if only I had time!
Anyways, as usual thank you and welcome old and new readers! Hope you all like it! ^__^
