Coincidence?
Does everyone remember watching "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" and wondering how they made it so Ralph Fiennes had no nose? I mean, besides wondering how a villain that flamboyantly portrayed was supposed to be properly scary. Apparently, in Voldemort's quest to become as *eeeevil* as possible, his nose disappeared.
I was at Barnes & Noble the other day, and flipped through a manga Bible (cos it's too weird *not* to look through). Lo, and I came across the temptation of Jesus in the desert. And ya know how they drew Satan? Black robe, bald, aaaannd . . . *no nose*.
Not a coincidence, I think. Trust no one unless he hath a nose.
