He was quite certain that he had left Kaoru in the library. There was no way that he would leave his twin anywhere without making sure he knew WHERE it was. Then... why wasn't he in the library? Or in the class room. Or in the music room. Or in the bathrooms

He had stopped the moment he heard his name, and had just enough time to turn around before the comforting warmth of his brother enveloped him.
"Ah," Kaoru began softly, gently releasing Darya's arm. "I'm sorry, Hikaru... I wasn't gone that long, was I?" He returned his brother's embrace tightly, closing his eyes. He really hadn't thought Hikaru would have so much trouble finding them. Maybe he should've waited in the library...
Darya took a step away from the twins, not wanting to get between them. She smiled faintly at them for a moment, feeling bad that she had caused either of them any distress. She almost felt like was intruding on them, just standing there and watching them. At least she knew for certain now that Kaoru hadn't been lying about who he was earlier. Maybe she shouldn't have suggested going out into the rain in the first place.
"I'm sorry, Hikaru-kun. I'm afraid I stole Kaoru away for a little while. I didn't think we'd be so hard to find." Turning, the girl started towards the field again, figuring if the twins wanted to follow, they would. If not, well, she was used to solitude anyway.
Hikaru straightened his posture, passing a hand over his eyes briefly before grinning down at Darya. "It's alright, I was just a little out of it.. and I didn't think try and ask anyone if they had seen Kaoru..." Despite this, he slipped his hand into Kaoru's and squeezed it gently.
His expression fell as he looked down at his injured arm. "Damn... I should get out of the rain... before this gets too wet..." He offered a crooked grin.
((OOC: Arg I wasn't going to let myself forget that he still had a cast AND I DID. SO I REMEMEMBERED NOW. REMEMBERED. Too many syllables xD;;))
"Darya-san..." He began as the girl attempted to slip away, but his attention was caught by his brother's last words.
Kaoru's eyes widened. Of course! His brother's arm. His brother's broken arm. How could he have been so stupid and not remembered that about Hikaru? Immediately, he shrugged out of his heavy uniform blazer and wrapped the cloth around his brother's cast, securing it with his tie. The blazer was wet, but not too much and only on the outside. At the very least it would help keep the cast dry a little longer.
The rain, however, did not let up and very quickly began to soak through Kaoru's shirt. The younger Hitachiin didn't mind that so much and actually barely noticed.
"There. Better?" He attempted a small smile as he looked away from his slip-shod work and into his brother's eyes again.
"Kaoru..." the older twin replied quietly, looking from the blue blazer covering his cast to his brother's smiling face. "You're going to catch a cold... And you'll keep me up all night with your sneezing." This was, of course, said in a joking tone, but Hikaru was still worried about Kaoru's health.
"We should be getting to the Music Room... Kyouya will be angry if we're any later..." Hikaru said dryly with a sigh. He really did want to stay out longer, but the cast and club duties prevented just that. Maybe after club hours he could find some way to protect the cast...
The Hitachiin twin turned to look at Darya. "Are you coming to the Host Club today?"
(I just suggest one or two more posts from either/both of you :O then I can close it~)
Darya turned back to look at the twins, a thoughtful expression on her face. Well, it would certainly be something if all three of them trailed into the Host Club late and soaking wet. A warm cup of tea would also do nicely at the moment; she was starting to feel a chill coming on.
"I wasn't planning to, but...I think I will, now." Mostly, she just wanted to see the look on Kyoya's face at the twins' tardiness and current soggy state. Smiling fondly at them, she shoved wind-tangled hair out of her face, not particularly caring if she looked a mess or not. "We'll have to do this again sometime."
