A/N: Chopped is a wonderful show on Food Network in which contestants are given baskets of mystery ingredients to prepare a three course meal. The inspiration for the cure is here, but I am by no means endorsing it as a genuine cure. Unbeta’d.
House hated pancakes, but he was gladly planning to eat them, smothered in maple syrup, every day for the rest of the time he shared with Wilson. Unfortunately for his stomach, that was going to be much longer than five months.
Turned out baking soda and maple syrup could, in some cases, cure cancer. Thankfully, Wilson was one of those cases.
“Still not boring,” House whispered happily.
“House,” Wilson called from the living room. “Get in here. Chopped is on.”
House hurried to join his friend. Maybe tonight they’d find a cure for the common cold in the basket ingredients.
