No more moronic political ads, robo-calls, or emails at work urging me to go out and campaign. Bleh.

I'm lucky (for a change) to be in NYC. No real stumping went on here, everyone knew Obama had it. We didn't have to endure all the ads and emails and robo calls.

You just said a lot of stuff I agree with completely - and you said it far more eloquently than I ever could. Bravo, sir.

I agree with most of what you said. However I couldn't vote for Redpath for Senate since GOA gave him a D-- rating and since there were other third party choices on the ballot I thought it was very unlikely that he'd reach the magic 10% to give the LP ballot access.

Point. I actually met Redpath in '01, while teaching a Basic Pistol class. He'd signed up for the class as a treatment for hoplophobia. Apparently, further therapy in the form of EBR range time is warranted.

"I want McCain at one end of Pennsylvania Avenue (actually kind of in the middle of the northwest half, but who's counting?), with Obama and Biden at the other. The principle here, is gridlock. I WANT a government that is too busy biting itself in the ass, to mess with me."

This is exactly how I feel about government.
