So coming off that 18+ reply survey like entry, lets go back to just some random musings shall we?
1) CNN has gone to the birds... here's an email I sent to my mom about it:
"CNN has really begun to suck eggs lately... first they suspend Novak for swearing at an opponent in a debate... coicidence? It was in a debate against a republican. Second they cancel the Beltway Gang, I liked watching that show occasionally.. good political insight the regular news doesn't show. Third they really screwed up their facts on the Air France crash landing in Toronto- saying the plane with 4 engines on the wings... a twin engines on the tail. Today there was a commuter plane crash in Italy.. ditched in the ocean because of engine troubles, not only were they the last media to pick up the story.. but they still screwed up the facts. I hate to admit it but Tucker Carlson's show on MSNBC is interesting... and occasionally I agree with him. CNN really seems to be imploding.. and they've been the butt of a lot of jokes lately in terms of their integrity."
2) Jackie and I hung out for almost the whole day yesterday and had some fun/emotional/relaxing times. Anyways among our ventures... we went to the mega Wally World down Tryon... I made some really fun purchases.. a nice pillow to go on my computer chair.. definitely worth it, very comfy.. no more hard wood under my butt. I bought a mini-Papasan chair (chair that looks like you're sitting in a bowl)... and further fashioned an ottoman out of a spare box and an old pillow.. very comfy, I think I'll be spending a lot of time in it studying. Bought some notebooks, and some handsoap for $0.87/bottle.. good deal if I say so myself. The girl who wrang us up was just dumb.. good customer service skills, i.e. talking to the customers, making it a nice experience... but some things you should just keep to onesself.
3) Eating leftovers from MaMa Fu's.. really good stuff.. I've become addicted to that place.
4) I work 4:30-Close tonight, and 3:30-Close tomorrow, then monday off, and then 6-Close Tuesday
