I hope that everyone has had a nice holiday season. Fortunately for me, my flu cleared up enough for me to go to the Christmas party at Shuuhei's work without looking contagious or grody. All his coworkers were terribly friendly, and they made me feel right at home. Don't ask Shuuhei about the mistletoe they had tacked up in the front door.
A few gifts were exchanged after the party. It was nice. I called Mama and Kiba and talked with them for a while, too. I'd mailed their presents to them so they opened those while I was talking to them.
New Year's eve was pretty fun, too. We chilled and played video games for a bit, then watched the ball drop on TV. I got a tiny bit drunk (don't as Shuuhei about that, either. Or Ino or Chouji, for that matter), and went to bed around three. I can't believe it's already 2007. I think this is going to be a good year.
