My year in a box
Well, last update of the year. And clearly the best one...
I'd say this year's been pretty good to me, to be honest. In 2003, loads of big stuff happened, this year has been pretty quiet. Saying that, I like big stuff, keeps things interesting.
Highlights (in no particular order):
Going to see Incubus. They're a class band, and they did a really good live performance. Which all adds up to a pretty good night. Despite nearly dying in the mosh pit.
Harvest. As always. It probably wasn't as good as previous years, as hardly anybody went. Still, we had our little band of dedicated followers (okay, I had to tempt people there with chocolate), and it was still cool.
Jonny and Amandas wedding. Was cool getting invited to the whole thing. And it was a laugh, as you would expect with Mr Douglas. The other weddings were cool, but as I said, I got invited to the whole thing. Bribe me off with free food and you get a mention here. Remember that.
The stag do's. They were all really good fun, including the one on my birthday. Plus, I didn't expect to get invited to any, which is always nice.
McGregors party. I've been to plenty of parties this year, but it was cool to see some people I haven't seen since Marden. And some I wish I hadn't seen. You know who you are.
THE HAIR!!! Come on, mild mannered Dave grew it all year, you can't say that it wasn't crazy. Even if it was a bit too crazy by the end.
And plenty of other stuff which I cant be bothered to write about.
I was going to do some lowlights, but everyone seems to be negative at the moment, so I I'm not going to be. In any case, I've got to go to les Hodgesones for their new year thing soon, so I'm going now.
