I created this Fundraiser to help support my friend, no_mysteryleft. Every year, Kacie does the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure. Every year, participants agree to raise $2,300 before the 3-Day Walk. What is Susan G. Komen and the 3-Day Walk, you may ask? Let me let the website give you the details:
Susan G. Komen Foundation:
The Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure net proceeds fund innovative global breast cancer research and local community programs supporting education, screening and treatment. Virtually every major advance in the fight against breast cancer in the last 29 years has been impacted by a Susan G. Komen for the Cure® grant.
3-Day Walk for the Cure:
Thousands of women and men come together, each raising money for Susan G. Komen for the Cure®. Then they take their commitment to end breast cancer one step further and walk 60 miles over the course of three days.
This is an amazing thing that Kacie and many others do. I'm sure every one of you knows someone who has been touched by cancer - either themselves, or their family members or friends.
Kacie has currently raised $945 of her $2,300 goal. I'd like to help her get there.
And if anyone is curious, in case the auction raises more than Kacie needs, the rest will still go to Susan G. Komen, of course!
This is where you come in.
I have started two posts. One for Graphics, one for FanFic.
Please help out by either offering up graphics or fic for bidders, or bidding on the graphics or fic offered. Or, even better, both!
Offerers:
You can either do a Top Bidder Auction, where people bid on you and the highest bidder at the end of the auction (November 6) wins, or you can offer a set amount for your services to multiple bidders (for example: 5 icons for $3, 500 words for $3, etc., etc) - this is up to you.
Bidders:
Please be aware that you are responsible for all bids that are made. When you win, you can pay either directly through Kacie's site (the MUCH preferred way) or you can send a payment via Paypal to kacies3day@gmail.com, where all funds will be donated to Kacie at the end of the auction. It may be helpful to include your username when paying for the auction. Once you have sent your payment, please provide the offerer a copy of your confirmation email.
