Passing along a message from
no_mysteryleft Hi guys! I just wanted to take a few moments to thank you for your creativity and generosity! Breast cancer, Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the 3-Day have changed my life in so many ways. Losing my grandma when she was only 58 was one of the worst things I could imagine. But now, 21 years later I am so grateful for the people and opportunities it brought me. My 3-Day family is made up of amazing pink warriors and survivors and some of the most generous people I've ever had the privilege of knowing. I am so proud of what I've done in memory of my grandmother. If I raise $2,700 this year (so just $400 above the $2,300 minimum to walk) I will have personally raised $10,000 for Susan G. Komen since 2009. I would be honored and humbled to hit that milestone this year.
Fundraising is hard in this economy, but I've learned that people are still incredibly generous and kind. With 1 in 8 women being diagnosed with breast cancer chances are every one of you has a story like mine. It's impossible to find someone who hasn't been touched by this disease in some way. Your contributions will help me achieve a goal, but the ultimate goal is so much more than that. Your contributions will become a part of creating a world without breast cancer. Congratulations -- you might not feel different, but you're now part of my pink family. <3
xoxo,
Kacie
