My voices told me to just relax today!

Let's cut to the chase here...

Friday: REALLY good day, all in all, except for 7th Period because I SUCK AT ALL THINGS THAT ARE SPORTS! I hate not doing well...but the earlier portion of the day was lovely, had lots of fun with Ashley as usual, and then later on that night, Mom and I went to see the school play, "How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying." I knew basically everyone on stage, which was awesome. They all did a spectacular job, I had a great time. The only downside was that it was long and hot as all hell, but I suppose if one must pay to be stuck in hell for 3 hours, you might as well get some good entertainment in the interum. They really did a great job.

Mike Reilly is a man-whore.

LISA!!! (insert shirt description here!!!) I LOVE YOU!!!

And Saturday: Boring all afternoon, did some work on the Vaudeville project (maybe it's just all things Hague that are hell...who knows, at least she means well) and bummed around like usual, til around 3 when Mom and I jetted off to do some power shopping at JC Penny's. Got two new over-the-shoulder-boulder-holders. Almost broke down, which is rediculous, but I HATE shopping for bras. Also got some sexy lengerie...I don't know what came over mom. I pointed it out and laughed and she's like "Oh! That looks like it would be really comfortable to sleep in this summer!" It's this turquoise/baby blue satiny...two-piece practically see-through...thing! With BOOTY SHORTS...I can't even describe it. It IS very comfortable, but I'd never be seen dead in it outside of my room. I also temporarily lost my gift certificate from Sharon while trying on everything, I must have left it in the changing room and some lady came along and tossed it aside, in any case, in my mildly frantic search for it, I stopped at the Jewelry department to make sure it hadn't been used, only to find them all busy, and one lady on the phone. Well, eventually she came over and greeted me with an apology at the wait and proceeded to explain that normally she didn't use the company phone to make or receive personal calls, but you see, her husband had been a jackass that morning and that was him, calling to apologize, so I could, of course, understand how she wouldn't want to hang up on him? I guess I am getting old.

AND I'm using a green face mask at night. Scary.

Then we flew by The Way (alas, the one in Westerly, not Hope Valley, sorry Steve) and got my FAVORITE sub EVAR (turkey with American cheese, lettuce and tomatoe with a little bit of mayonaise on whole wheat!) and split it with Mom then on our way to Ashley's to do some last minute touching up on our Plants and the Environment project for Bio (she did a fabulous job in my absense) and then off to Hope Valley for the CONCERT!!!

AWESOME time. Really loud. I find it amusing that Ashley and I are both so into these things, and we definitely did have a great time, but then on the way home we're just completely silent, she had a bad headache, my ears were ringing, we were both extremely tired, etc. We try, but we're just not party girls. But it was really, really fun. Gave Jesse a hug just before the show started, as did Ashley, and told him that we had both missed him. To be honest, I don't think he had recognized us before hand. Damn those drugs. But maybe he was just busy. I care not. Grover Dill was good - the singer was jumping all around and then screaming lyrics into the faces of various people, myself included, but I was extremely spaced out when he came over to me so yeah. You had to be there, but it must've been pretty gosh darned funny, I'd imagine, to see my reaction. Kind of a cross between blank, shocked and terrified. *hehe* I wasn't all too impressed with the band, they were good, but they all kind of sound the same to me. Preston was really quite good - the poor guy got kicked in the eye, I felt bad. 86 I thought very little of, either good or bad. Just kind of there. Then ANOTHER TRAGIC ENDING - they're still my favorite. Go on and hate me, but I still love them. It was John's last show!!! *pout* So god only knows what that will do to the band. Their new album comes out in June. New and last? It remains to be seen. They were really good, they really have such a presence, whatever else may be said for them. I was in the second "row" of people, right behind Emily Satterlee...whose name I'm probably horrible misspelling, but ah well...and I had a GREAT view of the whole thing, and then everyone had to fucking start moshing. John jumps up like, RIGHT onto my shoulder, kicks me in the head, etc. It's really hard to participate in moshing, period, let alone if you're trying to hold onto your purse. I was tragically separated from Ashley in the midst of it all - a "long time" in our book...a full 30 seconds maybe! Danielle and Melissa were wicked sweet and did a great job of "protecting" me (*hehe*) and Melissa actually got me to the edge of it all and then out which I will forever be grateful for. But I had lost Ashley...I ran around for a second until the mass of bodies parted, like the red sea, and I grabbed her arm and dragged her out. It was cute. I hate moshing. I came waaay too close to too many sets (pairs?) of boobs for even my liking haha. Anyway, the rest of ATE's set was great like always, had a great time. Ashley and I prepped afterwards and then attackled Jesse with hugs and a kiss on each cheek (*shh!!!*). He's so adorable! We chatted for a little bit, and then split up to get some much needed ICE COLD WATER, which turned out to be extra fun cause Jesse walked by a few minutes later and we got to give him some chills with our wet hands...erm...you know what I mean. Monty's Fan Club came on then, really quite good, I like them. I like the fact that they've incorporated horns into their music, it's a nice change. But I was getting super tired at that point so it was all just washing over me, not sinking in. And I was right by an amp. Not cool. Jesse came and found Ashley and I (he came to US yay!!!) to say goodbye, gave us hugs and told us to come visit him this summer in Providence. Och! (I love you Lydia!)

It was around 10:30 when we left...on our way to Mom's car, we got to say goodbye to shirtless John, hugs all around and farewells on all sides. Drove Ashley home and then Mom and I got in around 11 or so. Slept like a rock until 8.

Now it's Sunday afternoon and I have homework still. I'd better run. It was a good weekend. I hope all of yours were equally grand, or even grander!

Can't wait for summer...!!!

Love always,
